This project completely renovated the original structure. Since the building was located in an historic district of Minneapolis, Kodet Architectural Group responded to the criteria set by the Historic Preservation Commission.
The exterior brick required tuckpointing and stabilizing. Installation of new window frames and leaded glass were also important aspects of the renovation work. Mechanical and electrical systems were completely renovated. To enliven the interiors, Kodet Architectural Group designed new millwork to match and expand the existing decor. A solarium and skylights embellished the dining areas while introducing natural light.
