Kyle received his Masters of Architecture degree and Metropolitan Design Certificate from the University of Minnesota. This combination allowed him to explore his interest of understanding how cities change and grow over time and the ways in which designers can create better places for people to live, work, and play.
Kyle enjoys traveling to various cities across the country and visiting famous works of architecture. He has an active Instagram account where he explores photography and documents his travels. In addition, he also enjoys getting away from it all and experiencing all the things the great outdoors has to offer, especially anything to do with camping. Kyle is an active volunteer with professional organizations and shares his knowledge by teaching the architecture, drafting, and landscape architecture Merit Badges to young Boy Scouts.
Since joining Kodet as a student, Kyle has expanded his involvement in the firm. He enjoys the diversity of project types Kodet is known for, and likes seeing projects go from concept to reality. As such, his responsibilities include working through various project phases with an emphasis in construction documentation on a wide variety of project types. These include educational K-12 schools, churches, and transit facilities.
Furthermore, he brings design experience and digital proficiency in a variety of computer programs that is highly beneficial to the firm for client and contractor communication in both 2D and 3D representation.
